PLAYER BIO
The granddaddy of all, Mr. Redhawk himself and founder of the team, Jason Yormark created the Chicago Redhawks in 1999 out of frustration of playing with a previous team that was run poorly. Little did he know what would become over the years as the Redhawks would do something that few teams are able to accomplish; field the same team year in and year out.

One of the challenges for managers is to field a competitive team on a yearly basis. The fact that the Redhawks consist of a group of core players that have played almost entirely their whole careers as Redhawks is quite an accomplishment. Even more so then their first division championship in 2000 or their first outright league championship in 2004.

Yormark has always been an average ballplayer at best, but over the years has become better. In 2005, Yormark went on to hit over .400 for the season, and not only make the All Star Game, but win the MVP for the game (albeit a non-eventful game, but MVP nonetheless).

Times may change, and players will undoubtedly move on, but one thing that will always stay the same is that the Chicago Redhawks will be a home for amateur baseball players who look for more then championships.
